Bismillah, i.e. 'With the Name of Allah', is the first thing we wrote for this website. Bismillah is also the first blog we want you to read here. Bismillah first. We know bismillah  as a word we utter before we eat. But it's more than that. We know it as a word we recite when we read the Quran. But it's more than that. We know it as a word we express to open the prayer. But its more than that. Bismillah is more than a word. Bismillah = more. More of what?More of good. When uttering bismillah you involve God in your act.And God is Good. He is the Ultimate Good. And goodness comes from Him and Him only. By involving Him you rely on Him for goodness. It's a way of checking your intention before you go on your way.It's a way of checking if there is goodness, if there is God.After all, you wouldn't utter Bismillah for a bad deed.Therefore, bismillah should be a habit. A concious habit. Everything you do, everything you say, stands or falls with the quality of your bismillah. So building your bismillah is therefore always the most important thing you can do before any start. So we start, we start our journey with bismillah.
